Hanoi, 1 April 2023 – NEC Vietnam Company Limited has appointed Mr. Naoto Hamatani as its new General Director, effective on 1 April 2023.

 

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Hamatani was Senior Executive Specialist of NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd. (Japan). Mr. Hamatani, with nearly 25 years of experience in NEC, has an extensive managerial record in public safety and digital government projects as well as partnering strategy.

 

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Hamatani said, “I am honored and excited to take on this new role and continue driving NEC’s growth and transformation in Vietnam. I would like to combine the technologies of NEC Group and NEC Vietnam to create new social value for Vietnam society.”

 

Mr. Hamatani replaces Mr. Tatsuya Oki, who has been General Director of NEC Vietnam since 2020. Mr. Oki has relinquished his role in NEC Vietnam and will return to Japan for a new assignment at NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd.
